News Release Lawson Signs Mega-franchise with Save On Convenience Store Chain in Yamagata, Fukushima and Ibaraki Prefectures

Lawson, Inc. and Save On Corp. have decided to sign a mega-franchise contract covering Yamagata, Fukushima and Ibaraki prefectures.


About the mega-franchise agreement:
At the end of January 2016, Save On operated 75 SAVE ON convenience stores in Yamagata, Fukushima and Ibaraki prefectures. Save On has agreed to gradually change 50 of those outlets into LAWSON brand stores by the middle of April 2016. Following the shift, Save On will help develop LAWSON stores in the three prefectures as a mega franchisee of the Lawson brand.


Going forward, Lawson and Save On have committed to further strengthen the development of products that fulfill local community needs, and the two companies will strive to build stores that customers really appreciate across Yamagata, Fukushima and Ibaraki prefectures.
