The sales result of LAWSON Business (LAWSON and NATURAL LAWSON) in November is as follows*1.
Existing-store sales (excluding ticket and gift card sales etc.) decreased 0.7% year on year over the same period and the average number of customers per store decreased 2.2% and the average customer spend rose 1.5% year on year..

The Lawson Group operated 14,697 convenience stores in Japan at the end of November 2021, including 137 NATURAL LAWSON stores and 669 LAWSON STORE 100 stores.


・Of the five categories in which we are strengthening our product lineup, sales of frozen foods and Japanese and Western sweets continued to grow as a result of capturing demand in customers' daily lives.
・In in-store kitchen ,"Machikado Chubo", boxed lunches tailored to the needs of each region and thick-cut Sangenton pork cutlet sandwich sold well.
・In the cooked noodle category, sales were driven by the pasta series supervised by pasta specialty restaurants and the easy-to-consume size noodle series.
・The total sales of a new "Crispy Fried Chicken", launched on November 26, surpassed 5 million units.
・In the desserts category, the total sales of "GATEAU CHOCOLAT", launched at the end of September, surpassed 9 million units.
・We implemented male idol group debut promotion (November 9 - 22), etc. as a sales promotion.

Cigarette sales were a factor that pushed up existing-store sales in November by about 1.5 point year-on-year.
